Blake (red hair) is the main character. He's depressed, gay, his parents just split, and he's gotta move to a new town and start a new school. He sees Tanith (purple hair) smoking in the park. She seems sad, but gets aggressive when he tries to talk to her. She's got issues of her own which we learn later in the story. Cameron (dark haired guy kissing a cat) is Blake's soon to be best friend. Blake kind of has a crush on Cameron, but unfortunately for him, this country kid is straight. He's actually sweet on Lois and has been since they met in Primary school. Lois (brown haired girl) is a huge study bug and a bit of an introvert- the opposite of her twin, Liam (blonde boy). Liam knows computer's but he's otherwise clueless. Despite his sleeziness and low intellect, he's always positive and talkative and quickly becomes friends with Blake and Cameron. He developes a thing for Tanith's rough demenor when they eventually meet.
