Yuri

 My latest writing craze; Yuri Smith unknowingly becomes an internet sensation, referred to by media as the 'runaway voice.' From victim to stardom, several changes of scenery alter how Yuri sees the world and how humanity treats someone who never really changes.

Yuri is never referred to as a boy or girl (the same as Nikky) to kind of open up the audience and keep them observent. In actuality, I change my interpretations of the gender of each character every few chapters, so there is no obvious choice.

The picture here is a contrast of Yuri in the beginning and end- the white hair being Nikki's influence, obviously. It's a sad story, even if it does come across as classic and obvious. This story is about many things, but having your dreams magically come true without effort is not one of them. The goal of Yuri is to get those real messages across in a way that is true and blinding, like throwing ice water at the audience. That's how Ernest Hemmingway wrote, and it's the kind of angle I'm going for in this book. No pressure, eh?
